Both Uniformed officers and Store Detectives are trained to deal with incidents from start to finish. This means that as well as detecting and apprehending offenders, personnel will complete all relevant paperwork and statements.
Teams of two or more plain clothed officers used specifically to target problem stores to quell theft and public order incidents. These teams have covert CCTV, radios and camcorders at their disposal for this purpose. Teams will deal with all incidents that occur in your store as well as in any adjacent store car park or other property.
We are able to provide uniformed officers to existing Shopwatch Schemes who wish to set up a Security Patrol between its members. Officers patrol between stores linked by radio. Should a member require any assistance that the officer can be called upon to attend the store. The presence of an officer patrolling shopping areas can greatly reduce instances of begging, drunkenness and public order offences. These schemes have been highly beneficial to those members involved.
